If you have one of our screen cleaning cloths please see below for full instructions on how to clean the surface of the SMART Board.
1. Always ensure that the board is turned off and powered off at the wall during cleaning.
2. Do not use any cleaning products. Rinse the screen cleaning cloth thoroughly in warm water and ring out very well. There must be no residue of wet on the cloth at all. The boards must not be wiped with a cloth that is dribbling any water down the boards, as this could damage the board. The cloth must only be damp.
3. Using small circles, clean the whole of the screen.
4. Thoroughly rinse out the cloth in warm water (as per step 2) and repeat step 3, if necessary.
5. Once clean, leave the board to dry before using. If cleaned correctly then the screen will be smudge free and look like new.
6. Thoroughly rinse out the cloth and leave, opened out, to dry.
