Network Outage Affecting multiple sites

- Major Incident Management team were engaged around 08-05-2024 12:08 BST.
- P1 process invoked.
- Nasstar Technical teams are investigating.
- Nasstar Core engineering team has been engaged to aid with the investigation.
- Nasstar have observed that the service partner link (TalkTalk Business) in Manchester is affected.
- Nasstar Core engineering team has rebalanced the traffic across different links to ease the congestion in London.
- If the network is still down (or degraded), Nasstar recommends that affected sites perform a reboot of the router.
- TalkTalk Business (TTB) reverted to the NOC team, saying that no fault has been identified within their network.
17:40 - Latest Update (Normal Service Resumed)
- A core perimeter edge in Manchester was identified as causing the loss of connectivity.
- The core team then re-routed the impacted traffic to the core perimeter edge in Global Switch 2 (GS2) to restore the service at 16:53.
